   Since 1995, The Ridge Winery has been producing and marketing award winning wines! The Ridge Winery commemorates two hundred years of American wine history by restoring the trade to Switzerland County, home of America's first  successful commercial winery.

  The Ridge Winery "Special Art Label" on Switzerland County Red Wine commemorates Vevay, Switzerland County, Indiana as the first successful commercial winery in America.

 In 1989 Tom Demaree, Winemaker, decided to turn his passion into a business and with the assistance of family and friends, Tom is seeing his vision become a reality.  Currently The Ridge Winery produces twelve varieties of wines using blends of select fruits and grapes.

  Wines are available at several retail locations shown on the wine list page. The Ridge winery tasting room, nestled on the banks of the Ohio River is part of the Indiana Wine Trail - Southeast and a favorite stop for visitors to Switzerland County and the Historic River Town of Vevay.
  Wines are also available for shipment within Indiana, contact the winery or the tasting room for details.

  The Ridge Winery has earned numerous awards and honors as well as Governor's Trophy Points at the Indy International Wine Competition and at the prestigious Swiss Wine Festival.
